Britain’s Prime Minister and six ministers will travel to Baku for COP29.
According to AZERTAC, citing UK government sources, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and six ministers will visit Azerbaijan to participate in the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29). ).
The COP29 summit will take place in Baku from November 11 to 22, 2024. Heads of State and government representatives from different countries around the world will participate in this summit meeting organized by the United Nations. The goal is to define new financial goals to combat climate change and expand cooperation in areas such as green energy and sustainable development.
It is expected that within the framework of this summit, which has strategic importance for Azerbaijan, important decisions will be made. Holding COP29 in Baku strengthens Azerbaijan’s position in the international arena and shows its contribution to global climate issues.
