kyiv canceled the agreement on air communications with Tehran, signed in 1993.
Oku.Az reports that this was reported on the Ukrainian government website.
Ukraine closed the airspace over the country starting February 24, 2022. Since then, there have been no regular civil aviation flights. In effect, Ukraine’s decision means that air traffic with Iran will not resume once airspace is opened.
Ukraine accuses Iran of providing assistance to Russia. Previously, kyiv violated many different agreements with Russia, including those concluded within the framework of the CIS, which actually ceased to operate many years ago.
