Rutte says he doesn’t support Zelensky’s entire plan, despite strong NATO support
He Mark Rutte, NATO Secretary Generaladmitted this Wednesday that he cannot say that he supports everything included in the “Victory Plan” detailed by the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenskyto overcome the Russian invasion, but reiterated the Alliance’s strong support for Kyiv.
“It is of course a strong sign from Zelensky and his team that they came up with this plan and are now implementing it. That doesn’t mean I can say I support the whole plan. It would be a bit difficult,” Rutte said at a press conference ahead of the meeting of the the defense ministers of NATO which is celebrated Thursday and Friday at Brussels.
However, he stressed that allies continue to strongly support Ukraine to ensure that the Russian president, Vladimir Putin“don’t get away with it.”
