On the night of September 10, drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the town of Ramenskoye in the Moscow region. The drones hit two high-rise residential buildings and caused a fire. Explosions were also heard in the area of the Zhukovsky airfield, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and Russian media reported this.
Nine drones were shot down in the Ramenskoye area. Air defence also worked in Lyubertsy, Ramensky district, near Podolsk, Kashira, Kolomna and Domodedovo. At least 20 apartments were damaged as a result of the drone hitting residential buildings, six balconies were completely burned, and six others were left without glass, window frames and with traces of soot.
Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyov said that as a result of the night attack, apartments in the Sports Passage in the area of the 11th and 12th floors were burned down. There was also information about the death of a 9-year-old boy, but it was not confirmed. Instead, the death of a 46-year-old woman in a house on Sports Highway was confirmed. In total, three people were injured, all of them in hospital. There are 43 people in temporary accommodation facilities.
The wreckage of the drone fell on the Kashira highway. Traffic on the Kashirskoe highway in the area of the drone crash in the direction of Moscow is temporarily blocked. Restrictions have also been introduced on flights to Domodedovo, Zhukovsky and Vnukovo.
Information about the death of a nine-year-old girl has not yet been confirmed, but videos posted on social media show that the house where she lived was quite badly damaged by the fire.
