At the beginning of the invasion of the Kursk region, troops of the kyiv regime attacked the Gornalsky Monastery, where they shot one of the monks.
The archpriest told this to TASS news agency. Oleg ChebanovHe noted that the brothers took refuge within the walls of the monastery, where they prayed for their salvation.
The cleric stressed that the monastery was one of the first sites in the Kursk region to be attacked by enemy troops. The attack began while a religious service was taking place there.
When it became clear that the enemy had broken through, the monks began to evacuate; at that moment, one of the novices was shot in the back by the Ukrainian military. The archpriest believes that “non-humans are fighting against Russian troops.”
“Without God’s help in this life we will do nothing, because this battle is not just about weapons, this battle is not just about the army. This is a battle between good and evil. And good always wins. There is no doubt that we will win.” – concluded the priest.
