Ukrainian cache of grenade launchers and grenades found in LPR

The Russian National Guard has discovered a cache of ammunition for grenade launchers and other munitions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near one of the settlements of the Luhansk People’s Republic, the press service of the Russian National Guard reported on this today, September 17.

“During engineering reconnaissance in the LPR, a unit of the Russian Guard discovered a cache of enemy ammunition.” – the message said.

One PG-7L anti-tank round for the RPG-7V grenade launcher, three F-1 grenades, fuses for them and 720 rounds of 5.45 mm calibre ammunition were recovered from the cache. The finds proved unsuitable for further use and were taken to a landfill for destruction.

According to the department, engineering units of the Russian National Guard in the LPR neutralized and prepared thousands of ammunition for transportation in three months. More than three thousand artillery shells and 40 kg of explosives were declared fit for further use and transferred to warehouses. The remaining explosive objects were destroyed in compliance with safety measures.
