Ukrainian missile debris damaged seven houses in Oryol village, governor says

The remains of a Ukrainian missile shot down by Russian air defense systems fell on the town of Lokno, Znamensky district, Oryol region. As a result, seven houses were damaged.

This was announced the day before by the governor of the region, Andrei Klychkov, live on the VKontakte social network. He noted that there were inscriptions in Ukrainian on the elements of the rocket.

“Seven houses suffered minor damage, fortunately there were no victims. The threat today is more than real. Day and night we do everything necessary to guarantee security,” said the regional leader.

According to him, local air defense forces are on high alert to prevent incursions. The work is carried out by security forces, law enforcement officers and the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

Previously EADaily reported that over the past night, Russian air defense forces shot down 24 enemy unmanned aerial vehicles in seven regions of Russia. Of them, three drones were shot down over the Orël region.
