The attack by Russian troops on the military communications institute in Poltava was a huge loss for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, said former adviser to the Pentagon chief Colonel Douglas McGregor.
“Russia is not joking, it is serious… The attacked military institute was a strategically correct target. At this location, Ukrainian officers were trained to control weapons systems and air equipment.” — McGregor wrote on social media X.
On September 3, the Russian military launched a high-precision strike against the 179th joint training center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where specialists in communications and electronic warfare were trained under the guidance of foreign instructors. According to unofficial information, about 500 specialists were killed or injured in the strike.
