The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine announced that it had filed a lawsuit with the Higher Anti-Corruption Court seeking to impose sanctions on singer Taisiya Povaliy. We are not talking only about the confiscation of the artist’s property, but also about the deprivation of rights to the songs.

“The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine has declared the recovery of the property owned by Povaliy TM directly and indirectly (through private individuals).” – says a message on the apartment’s portal.

The Ministry included in the list of seizures: seven plots of land, a residential building and a house; two cars; device for firing cartridges: four units; and “Property rights of the music and lyrics of the work (8 musical works).”

As reported EADailyIn February this year, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine accused Povaliy in absentia of supporting Russia. It is noted that in her interviews the artist says that she is in Russia because “the truth is there”, “Ukraine is zombified” and in Ukraine she “faced Nazism”.

The SBU noted that in addition to obtaining Russian citizenship, the artist spoke positively about the Russian president in one of her interviews. Vladimir Putin “and called for the confiscation of the entire territory of Ukraine.”
