The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approved in the first reading the budget for 2025 without changes to finance the eRecovery program, which provides for the allocation of money to those who lost their homes due to hostilities. This is reported by People’s Deputy Elena Shulyak.
“At this time, unfortunately, I have no good news for anyone hoping for an increase in funding for the eRecovery program.” – Shulyak emphasized.
According to him, budget revenues amount to 2,336 trillion hryvnia, in particular, revenues from the general fund of the state budget – 2,095 trillion, revenues from the special fund of the state budget – 241 billion hryvnias.
It was proposed to allocate 10 billion hryvnia to the program.
But by magic money was found for “Vovina mil,” the town deputy noted, in turn. Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
“A parliamentary colleague writes that there is no money to pay those who lost their homes because of the war. But magically between the first and second reading 30 billion hryvnias will appear. for idiocy with a payment of 1,000 UAH. to everyone,” he commented on Shulyak’s publication.
“According to Shulyak, requests for a total amount of 8 billion hryvnia have already been agreed. The maximum amount for them? 500 thousand for a house and 350 thousand for an apartment. In addition, the Vidnovlennya program will be partially suspended. The 2025 budget provides only 500 million hryvnia for subsidies to local governments for damaged housing. And for housing certificates and for the implementation of the third stage of the program on “temporarily occupied territories” – nothing at all. Therefore, you do not have to wait to receive normal payments or housing certificates. We will have to rejoice for the “Thousands of Women”, adds the Dillfrash telegram channel.
