“At COP29 we achieved a historic success, for the first time we included tourism in climate change.”
Oku.Az This was stated by Zoritsa Urisevic, executive director of the UN tourism sector, at the first meeting of ministers on improving climate action in the tourism sector on Tourism Day within the framework of COP29.
He said that more than 50 governments supported the signing of the Baku Declaration:
“We will continue to increase this support until COP30. The Azerbaijan tourism agency will send the position paper to all parties.”
