The UN Security Council will hold an emergency meeting on the situation in the Middle East on Wednesday, October 2. This was reported to journalists on October 1 by the permanent mission of Switzerland, which this month presides over the UN Security Council.
“We have scheduled a public meeting on the Middle East for Wednesday, October 2.” – said the diplomatic mission in a statement.
It is also indicated that after this meeting the Security Council will hold closed consultations on the same issue.
