The organization said that this is equivalent to moving one child every five seconds, killing or distorting one child every 15 minutes.

In a statement published by the organization, RT received a copy, in the report that reports indicate the movement of more than 12 million children, an injury of more than 40,000 children and killing almost 20,000 children.

“The life of one child moves upside down at a speed of five seconds from conflicts in the region,” said the regional director of UNICEF in the Middle East and North Africa.

He added that “half of the 220 million children of the region lives in countries affected by conflicts.”

“We cannot allow this number to rise … The cessation of hostilities for children is not an option, but rather an urgent need and moral commitment, and this is the only way of the best future,” said Edward Bigder.

UNICEF said that almost 110 million children in the Middle East and North Africa live in countries affected by conflicts.

She indicated that violence continues to turn off almost all aspects of their life, since houses, schools and medical institutions are destroyed.

Children are also regularly exposed to situations that threaten their lives, difficult disorders, move and are devoid of safety and often carry psychological scars that can last for life.

According to UNICEF, 45 million children throughout the region need humanitarian assistance in 2025 from constant risk and weakness that threaten their lives compared to 32 million children in 2020, for 41 percent in just five years.

This happens at a time when UNICEF is faced with a serious financing shortage thanks to his operations in the Middle East and North Africa.

The organization explained that expectations remain dark in view of the future. It is expected that by 2026, UNISEF financing in the Middle East and North Africa will decrease by 20 and 25 percent, which can lead to a loss of 370 million US dollars, which identifies programs related to life throughout the region, including treatment of acute malnutrition, as well as providing safe water in conflict zones and vaccinations from deadly scattering.

In the context, Biggeride indicated: “With exacerbation of children’s testing in the region, resources necessary for response … Conflicts should stop, and international efforts should be enhanced to resolve these crises, and support for children with risk should be increased, not to reduce it.”
