Unknown crumbs came out of the bread produced by the Nur bakery.
About this Oku.Az– was approached by a citizen who came across the incident.
The whistleblower Emil Gabulov said that he bought the bread yesterday at a market near the “Academy of Sciences” metro station:
I bought bread for 55 kopeks, produced in the bakery “Nur”. Since it is factory bread, we always use it. After bringing it and cutting it, I ate a little and my stomach hurt. Then I noticed that there were black crumbs of unknown origin inside the bread. It was not the breadcrumbs or the burnt part. After contacting the factory, they asked me the question I should have asked them: “What are these black crumbs doing in the bread?” Afterwards I spoke to another person at the factory, he told me that it was an accident at work and that they would pay me compensation.”
In response to our inquiry, the press service of the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AQTA) said that the matter was registered and taken under control by the Agency’s “1003” call center:
“The incident will be investigated in accordance with the law. Detailed information on the results of the investigation will be provided. Consumers are asked to report any inconsistencies in the food sector to the AQTA hotline “1003” so that appropriate measures can be taken.”
