Active supplies of citrus fruits arrive in Russia from Abkhazia, as reported by the telegram channel of the Federal Customs Service of Russia.
“Up to 500 tons of “golden” fruits are imported by truck per day. Since the beginning of October, more than 7.5 thousand tons of Abkhazian mandarins have been imported. This is 1.5 times more than in the same period last year (5 thousand tons)”, – states the department.
It should be noted that the businessmen also import other products: 700 tons of feijoa, 190 tons of persimmons, 97 tons of lemons and 225 tons of walnuts (hazelnuts).
“In total, 9,000 tons of agricultural products from Abkhazia passed through customs control. “All customs operations are carried out as a priority, in a short time,” – says the message.
