Urgent meeting with heads of regional departments – EADaily, September 3, 2024 – Politics News, Russian News

The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, has called an urgent meeting with the heads of regional investigative departments, the topic of which was the high level of crime among migrants, as well as the sending of detainees to a zone of special military operations (SVO), the Telegram channel Baza reported.

According to information from Base, the meeting is scheduled for today, September 3, via video conference. In particular, the regions are to inform Bastrykin about the work on dealing with crimes committed by the visitors, as well as about the work with detainees after their transfer to the Northern Military District.

“According to sources, the heads of departments of Moscow, Moscow Region, St. Petersburg, Bashkiria, Saratov and Samara regions, as well as the Udmurt Republic will report to Bastrykin.” – writes TK.

In June, Bastrykin said that more than 30,000 migrants who had received Russian citizenship and did not want to register with the army had already been “caught” in the country. According to him, 10,000 of them were sent to the Northern Military District to perform various jobs.

EADaily He adds that this morning, several messages have already been posted on the RF IC Telegram channel that the head of the department has ordered the initiation of a series of criminal cases against migrants. Thus, at the suggestion of social networks, which wrote that in Penza a group of visitors detained and beat a 13-year-old teenager, as well as committed other illegal actions against other minors and adult residents of the city, a preliminary investigation was launched. The check was organized under Art. 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism).

“Bastrykin instructed the head of the investigative committee of the Penza region investigative committee. Ignatenkov VV initiate a criminal case and report on the established circumstances”, – indicated in the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

As TK Sledkom writes, “In the Yaroslavl region, visitors from Uzbekistan harass local residents in public places.” Based on this fact, the investigative authorities of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Yaroslavl region organized a pre-investigation check.

“The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the head of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Yaroslavl region, AA to initiate a criminal case and submit a report on the established circumstances,” – the message said.

In the Sverdlovsk region, in Yekaterinburg, “a group of young people, consisting of immigrants from Tajikistan, are attacking local residents without reason and committing illegal acts, filming what is happening.” A criminal case has been opened for hooliganism (Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

Bastrykin will also be presented with a report on the investigation into hooliganism in Odintsovo near Moscow, where the day before, on September 2, on Chistyakova Street, “children of immigrants beat a Russian child.” After the father of the injured child arrived, he was “attacked by relatives of aggressive teenagers.” Based on this fact, the Main Investigative Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Moscow Region opened a criminal case under Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism).

“The head of the department gave instructions to the Acting Head of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Moscow Region Yakovlev YA to report on the progress of the criminal investigation and the established circumstances. The execution of the order is under control at the central office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.” – the department reports.
