The presidents of the United States and the United Arab Emirates will meet in Washington on September 23. During the meeting, it is planned to discuss issues of bilateral relations, the regional agenda, cooperation in the field of advanced technologies, energy, space, critical infrastructure and investment.
This is the first visit of the UAE President Mohammed bin Zeid Al Nahyan to Washington.
According to the diplomatic adviser to the President of the United Arab Emirates, Anwar Gargash, the main topic of the meeting with the American president Joe Biden will be bilateral relations and how the UAE authorities want to restructure relations with the United States over the next 10 years.
He expects the presidents of the two countries to discuss the situation in the Gaza Strip and regional developments, but “the main objective of the visit, from the UAE’s point of view, is investment in the future, through the prism of the economy and the situation in the field of AI and technology.”
