The United States Department of Justice has opened a investigation into the death of Sonya Masseyan African-American woman, at the hands of a white police officer in the state of Illinois. The incident took place on July 6, when two officers went to his home to respond to a call. The policeman shot him at point blank range after she didn’t let go of a pot of boiling water she was cooking on.
