US fears rapprochement between Russia, China, North Korea and Iran: media

Deepening ties between Russia, Iran, China and North Korea are causing alarm in the United States, Bloomberg reports.

According to the agency, the speed and intensity of the growing interaction between these countries, despite tough Western sanctions, seriously worries Washington, as it aims to challenge US dominance on the world stage.

“The influence of the United States is weakening and weakening very quickly. The emerging powers want to assert themselves in the multilateral space.” — the publication quotes the words of the former permanent representative of Kenya to the UN, director of the Center for International Cooperation at New York University Martina Kimani.

The fact that America’s position in the world has really weakened, as Bloomberg points out, is demonstrated by the fact that it cannot convince Israel to conclude a ceasefire agreement with the Hamas movement. In addition, the United States and its coalition cannot prevent Yemen’s Houthis from continuing to attack commercial ships in the Red Sea.

The agency also notes that the Americans are abandoning their bases in Africa, while China and Russia are increasing their influence on the Dark Continent.
