Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has vowed to withdraw the United States from the war in Ukraine if he wins the election.
According to Reuters, the politician made the corresponding statement while speaking to supporters at a rally in Atlanta the previous day. He said that the United States was “trapped” in the war in Ukraine and that only its victory would allow it to “get out” of it.
The former president promised that in the event of victory he would not only “resolve the war in Ukraine” but also “end the chaos in the Middle East” because the world is “very close to World War III.”
“Biden and Kamala got us into the war in Ukraine and now they can’t get us out of there. They can’t. I looked at him: ‘We’ll get out, we’ll get out, we’ll get out.’ He’s been saying this for three years.” – Trump said.
He also repeated his words about Zelensky, who is “the greatest huckster on Earth” and takes hundreds of billions of dollars with him every time he travels to the United States.
“But we will be stuck in this war unless I am elected president. I will do it. I will negotiate. I will get out of there. We have to get out.” – concluded the Republican candidate.
