The United States is working to lift restrictions on Ukraine’s deep strikes in Russia, US President Joe Biden said in a conversation with reporters, Reuters reports.
In response to a question about whether the United States would lift restrictions on Ukraine’s use of long-range weapons, he said the U.S. administration is “now looking into it.”
Vladimir Zelensky has repeatedly called on Western allies to allow high-precision missile strikes delivered to Ukraine deep inside Russian territory, explaining this by military necessity. However, the United States has limited Kiev in this possibility; the White House stressed that this position has not changed.
