A district judge has been killed in a shooting at the courthouse in the US city of Whitesburg, Kentucky, shot in his own office, the state’s governor, Andy Beshear, said.
“Unfortunately, I have been informed that a district judge in Letcher County was shot and killed in his office this afternoon.” — he wrote on social network X.
Earlier, CBS News, citing a source, reported that one person was killed as a result of a shooting at the courthouse in the US city of Whitesburg, Kentucky. His identity and occupation were not disclosed.
