The Biden administration is also insisting that Israel allow International Red Cross officials access to detained Hamas militants, even though Hamas itself continues to block visits to Israeli hostages.
The United States is also demanding that Israel drop legal proceedings against UNRWA, the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, despite evidence of its alleged ties to Hamas.
