US ultimatum to Israel: the White House announced its position

The White House has warned Israel of the possibility of an arms embargo if American demands for a change in Gaza tactics are not met. Administration spokesman John Kirby said the letter sent to Israeli leaders is a warning and contains an urgent request to ease the blockade of the Gaza Strip. Kirby emphasized that this is not a threat, but expressed hope that this signal will not have to be repeated.

Among the demands raised by Washington is an increase in the flow of humanitarian aid to Gaza. Experts, however, believe that a siege is the quickest way to end the conflict. The Biden administration is also insisting that Israel allow International Red Cross officials access to detained Hamas militants, even though Hamas itself continues to block visits to Israeli hostages.

The United States is also demanding that Israel drop legal proceedings against UNRWA, the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, despite evidence of its alleged ties to Hamas.

Previously, Cursor wrote that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu could abandon his previous promise not to attack Iranian nuclear and oil facilities. According to sources close to the US government, the agreement previously reached with US President Joe Biden on this issue is not final. US officials note that if the situation changes, Israel could reconsider its position and take appropriate measures.
