US will release billions of flies in Mexico and Texas

Washington – The American authorities (USA) are preparing to free billions of flies from aircraft over Mexico and South Texas in order to stop the spread of dangerous parasites. The step is aimed at protecting cattle, wildlife and pets from meat larvae.

Unlike most flies that eat decaying or dead fabric, flies with screwing, causing much greater threats, because they lay eggs in open wounds or mucous membranes of hot animals and people who are still alive.

After hatching, the larvae went into the flesh, eating living tissue from the inside, often causing severe infections or death, if not treated.

“A thousand pounds can die because it is two weeks later,” said Michael Bailey, chosen by the president of the American Veterinary Association, chosen by the president of the American Veterinary Association.

It is reported that the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) plans to breed adult male flies, sterilize them with the help of radiation and free them into wild.
