Valencian businessman Vicente Tarancón, founder of Luanvi, disappeared by DANA, found dead

Troops working on the rescue and reconstruction of villages affected by DANA in Valencia found dead businessman Vicente Tarancón, director of the sports company Luanvi, as confirmed by company sources.

The businessman was returning on Tuesday 29 from a working lunch with other businessmen at the La Orza de Ángel restaurant in Chiva, where José Luis Marín, owner of the Mas Camarena schools, was also present; Miguel Bordeos, of Bosque Verde and Deliplus, and the former general director of EDEM, Antonio Noblejas. No information has been communicated on the situation of any of them since they got lost, Tuesday around 6 p.m., in one of the communities most affected by the flood waters of the ravine.

Sources in Luanvi told EFE that they do not currently know under what circumstances Tarancón’s body was found. The businessmen, as their families explained, disappeared on Tuesday, October 29 around 5:55 p.m., while returning from Chiva by car.
