The Valencian courts are suspending this Thursday the plenary session, where the President of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón, was to appear to report on the management of the storm that has hit the autonomy since October 29.
The House postponed the session until Friday due to the red warning for heavy rain issued by Aemet. The Generalitat Valenciana has decreed a rain alert of up to 180 liters per square meter.
The Table of Cortes has just transferred this decision to parliamentarians. The groups’ spokespersons asked the president, Llanos Massó (Vox), to postpone the session until Friday, at 11:30 a.m. Many deputies from Alicante and Castellón said they might have problems traveling and appealed for the safety of workers in the Valencian Parliament.
