Thousands of people gathered in the city centre of Valladolid to protect the Virgin of San Lorenzo during its traditional parade, which on this occasion coincides with the last day of the festivities in honor of its patron saint, which will end to the rhythm of Raphael and in the light of the last fireworks of the mascleta night.
The historic center was thus dressed in the popular carpet in honor of the boss and a delegation headed by local, ecclesiastical and military authorities. Among them, the mayor, Jesús Julio Carnero, who took the opportunity to ask the Virgin of Saint Lawrence “stability” for the country.
