Valladolid journalist Ana Martín will read a manifesto during the institutional event to be held at the City Hall next Monday
Valladolid City Hall will organize an institutional event next Monday on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, “reaffirming its commitment to the fight against this social scourge and to raising citizen awareness.”
The event will take place in the reception room of the Town Hall at 5:00 p.m. and will include the intervention of the Mayor of Valladolid, Jesús Julio Carnero, as well as the reading of the institutional declaration of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces. (FEMP), and later the reading of the manifesto, carried out by Ana Martín de Valladolid, journalist of “El Debate” and contributor to programs like Herrera en Cope, Espejo Público or Mañaneros. from TVE, reports Ical.
During the event, all municipal political groups that have previously adhered to the FEMP institutional declaration will participate in the reading of the manifesto, as in previous years.
“From Valladolid City Hall, we reiterate our commitment to the fight against violence against women and our support for victims, betting on institutional and social unity in the face of this reality,” they underlined in a press release from the City hall.
