The Balearic Islands are experiencing another day of heavy storms this Tuesday accompanied by an electrical device. Around 3 p.m., a strong waterspout hit Palma and other parts of inland Mallorca.
The National Meteorological Agency (Aemet) of the Balearic Islands warns that there is very intense showers in the Serra de Tramontaneinside interior of Majorca and also in Ibiza.
It should be recalled that the yellow warning has been activated in the Islands due to rain and storms and the orange notice inside Mallorca.

This forecast led the Balearic Islands Emergency Service to activate the Severity Index 1 (IG1) of the Weather Plan.
IG1 is activated when meteorological information makes it possible to predict the imminence of a harmful phenomenon in localized areas presenting a high probability of risk to people and property. This alert level includes a pre-alert of media mobilization.
