Fidan Ismayilgizi is also a victim of botched cosmetic surgery. He told Bizim.Media how he faced death as a result of a tummy tuck.
“The bleeding started after surgery”
He went to “Yasamal Hospital” on April 16 to get rid of his complexes. Fidan Ismayilgizi says that the clinic’s cosmetic surgeon, chief physician Elvin Aliyev and his team performed an abdominoplasty, that is, a tummy tuck. An hour after the operation, Mrs. Fidan’s condition worsened.
“My blood pressure dropped, my eyes darkened, I was sweating profusely, nausea and vomiting began. These are the signs of internal bleeding. I was returned to the operating table. My second operation took a long time. I was operated on twice in one day. I was happy when I came out alive, 1 week later, my most difficult days would begin…”
“The clinic did not accept me”
Fidan Ismayilgizi says he was able to save his life with the second operation, but he suffered every day for 6 months:
“After a lot of blood loss, the same area was opened and sutured twice, and deep necrosis (impaired nutrition of tissues and cells) began in the wound. After a while, my wounds opened completely, a large amount of serous fluid flowed from the wound, my body lost blood and fluid. I went to “Yasamal Hospital” in serious condition, but they did not accept me immediately to another private hospital for treatment there.
Non-aesthetic operation…
According to Fidan Ismayilgyzi, as a result of so much suffering, deep scars and an unwanted image appeared on his body:
“My body is visually very bad, how many more operations do I have to do? I’m already exhausted. I haven’t left the house for 5 months, but I’ve been busy putting bandages on my wounds. Imagine a wound that doesn’t heal, discharge from the wound, to put a bandage on it, to put a corset on it in this heat, my whole psychology collapsed.
Judicial proceedings
Fidan Ismayilgizi said he filed a complaint against Elvin Aliyev with the Prosecutor General’s Office for medical negligence. The prosecution referred the case to court. Although the Yasamal District Court did not open a criminal case, the prosecutor’s office considered this decision unfounded and requested a new investigation of the case.
Elvin Aliyev, chief physician of the “Yasamal Hospital”, told Bizim.Media that he did not perform the operation and considers the accusations to be unfounded.
According to him, the operation was carried out by Mehdi Hasanzadeh, a resident of “Yasamal Hospital”. Currently, Mehdi Hasanzade does not work at that clinic. But he was a resident at the time of the surgery. It is prohibited for the resident to perform the operation alone. The supervision of a doctor is essential.
Fidan Ismayilgizi says the delivery of the cameras to the prosecution is being delayed and there are questions about who carried out the operation.

“Fidan Ismayilgizi visited resident Mehdi Hasanzade at Yasamal Hospital on 04.07.2024 for a “tummy tuck” surgery. Mehdi Hasanzade told him that he is a resident in the 4th year of general surgery at Sabunchu Hospital. Since Fidan Ismayilgizi is a resident, independently of him Mehdi Hasanzadeh said that the operations were carried out under the supervision of Elvin Aliyev, the chief doctor of the “Yasamal Hospital”. Later, Mehdi suggested that he undergo a general blood test while he was undergoing tests and examinations, they recorded him. as Elvin’s patient.
This is not the first scandal in Elvin Aliyev’s career
In 2018, pus and necrosis appeared in Mehriban Mehdiyeva’s wound after her tummy tuck. In his statements to the media, the victim stated that Elvin Aliyev’s operation turned his life into hell. At that time, Elvin Aliyev was the head doctor of the private clinic “International-2”.

Emphasizing that Elvin Aliyev fell into this situation due to his unprofessional work and mistake, Fidan Ismayilgizi wants the other party to pay him compensation and punish the people who caused him to lose his health.
