Partners in the activities of commission agent Víctor de Aldama –Luis Alberto Escolano and César Moreno– They dissociated themselves this Monday before the judge of the mask conspiracy investigated in the Koldo affair.
According to sources present in the statement, which took place before the National Court, Luis Alberto Escolano denied that his companies have any link with health contracts or with attributions in the Canary and Balearic Islands.
Aldama’s other partner, Cesar Morenodenied any link with the facts investigated. He also assured that this has nothing to do with Transport contracts nor with those of the Canaries and the Balearics.
The two partners of Aldama, who declared themselves under investigation after being quoted on November 12only agreed to answer questions from their lawyers, who limited themselves to questioning them about the mask conspiracy.
Judge Ismael Moreno questioned them about Aldama’s companies in Portugal and, on this subject, Escolano limited himself to saying that he owns two companies in that country, but that they have nothing to do with the case under investigation.
Furthermore, and according to EFE, the defense omitted any questions regarding its alleged involvement in the conspiracy’s introduction of PCR tests at airports in the Canary and Balearic Islands during the pandemic, payments to the Civil Guard commander investigated. in this case and who was stationed at the Spanish Embassy in Caracas (Venezuela), or the alleged payment of rent for the apartment of a woman linked to former minister José Luis Ábalos.
The appearance of a third partner of De Aldama, Ignacio Díaz Tapia, was also scheduled for this Monday, although the judge postponed it until Tuesday, when the declaration as accused of Javier Serrano and María Piedad Losada, who allegedly carried out the work of secretary to the commissioner.

The Central Operational Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard claims that Aldama and its partners took advantage of the Covid tests, taking advantage of “the window of opportunity offered by De Aldama’s privileged relationship with the high authorities” of the Ministry of Transport by José Luis Abalos.
At the start of the investigation, the Civil Guard found a cat called “The Four Musketeers”which included Díaz Tapia, Serrano and Moreno with De Aldama. They would also have collaborated with the commission agent in the withdrawal of their funds. Conversations in this conversation also record certain movements that the UCO interprets as payments to Ábalos advisor Koldo García through his brother in the Dominican Republic, an assumption that De Aldama corroborated in his statement.
In its reports, the UCO of the Civil Guard states that De Aldama “keeps the rest of his associates detained with him (Díaz Tapia, Serrano, César) under his directives” and that, among other things, they were responsible for the management, location and deliveries of money to Commander Rubén Villalba, who, according to the investigation, received 2,000 euros per month from De Aldama.
Regarding this recurring payment, De Aldama, whom the UCO defines as the “corrupting link” of the plot, denied before judge Ismael Moreno that it was a payment for his services, but rather for necessary encrypted phones to its collaboration with the Civil Guard. .
