Victories of Guadalajara and Talavera and defeats of Conquense and Illescas

This weekend the curtain rose on Group V of the II RFEF in which the four teams of the region face each other: CF Talavera, Deportivo Guadalajara, CD Illescas and Balompédica Conquense. The first to enter the scene was Balompédica in a night match last Saturday and they did so with a defeat in their visit to Rayo Majadahonda. Yuya’s header from a corner gives Conquense the lead a quarter of an hour after the start. The Majariegos equalized in the 48th minute thanks to Fer Pin, also with a header after a corner. In the 70th minute, the score could have been 1-2, but the local goalkeeper Adrián Fernández stopped Jairo Cárcaba with a penalty committed against Yuya. And already in the 90th minute, Rayo Majadahonda scored the winning goal thanks to a superb shot from Rubén Torres.

Already Sunday morning, the Deportivo Guadalajara beat Atlético Paso 2-0 in a match in which the purple team was more effective than the Canary Islands team. Thus, in the sixth minute, a left-wing cross was subtly headed by Borja Díaz to bring the ball into the net. The score was 1-0, to the great joy of the 1,349 spectators (official figure) present at the Pedro Escartín. The score could have reached 2-0 just before halftime, but Neskes’ shot hit the crossbar. Already in the second half, at the hour mark, the score was 2-0 thanks to an offensive triangulation that Manu Ramírez completed with a superb shot.

For his part, CD Illescas played against Unión Sur Yaiza on Sunday morningteam from the south of Lanzarote. The Sagraños conceded two goals after half an hour, in the 34th and 37th, scored by veteran goalkeeper Nauzet Pérez, a penalty from Javi Robles and by Joel. After the restart, Borona scored Illesca’s goal in the 48th minute. The Sagreño team managed to equalize in the 87th minute, but a free kick taken by Javi Gómez sent the ball over the crossbar.

Finally, the CF Talavera won a nerve-wracking and well-deserved victory 1-0 against Colonia Moscardó. The blue and white goal came in the last play of a match played yesterday afternoon. It was a very long free kick from Isaiah that brought the ball into the net of the Madrid team. The ceramic team has undergone a deep overhaul of its squad and, in fact, yesterday it only fielded one player from last season: Edu Gallardo.
