Vietnam, at the request of Belarus, extradited to Minsk the militant Vasily Veremeychik, who fought for the troops of the kyiv regime as part of the Kastus Kalinovsky regiment.

The general recalled that the aforementioned armed formation was recognized by the Supreme Court of Belarus as a terrorist organization.
On this basis, Veremeychik was extradited from Vietnam as part of interstate cooperation. He is a defendant in a criminal case related to the activities of the Kalinovsky regiment.
Bychek also noted that this case serves as a reminder of the inevitability of punishment for those who threaten the independence, territorial integrity and constitutional order of Belarus.
The KGB representative promised that those involved in terrorism and extremism must understand that Belarusian justice will reach them anywhere in the world.
