Villarreal donates half a million euros to DANA victims

He Villarreal adds to the wave of solidarity and will assign half a million euros for people affected by terrible DANA which devastated several regions of Spain, notably province of Valencia. The Castellón team announced that it would collaborate financially with Caritas And Red Cross help by all possible means the victims of the disaster that occurred in recent days.

Thus, Villarreal, which belongs to a Valencian Community devastated by the consequences of this DANA, will donate 500,000 euros for the victims of DANA. In addition, the entity has made itself available to the Generalitat Valenciana and these associations to offer its facilities and all the means at its disposal in case they could be useful.

“Due to the extreme situation that we are experiencing due to the effects and consequences caused by DANA in the Valencian Community, especially in the province of Valencia, the club has informed itself through different associations and non-governmental organizations with the aim to know the best way to send your collaboration», Explains Villarreal in a press release.

“After this exploration, everyone agreed that the quickest and most effective way to cooperate is the economic contributionsince it will be used immediately for the various emerging needs,” they add.

Villarreal thus joins the the real Madridwho also showed their full support for the victims of DANA by announcing a collaboration between their Foundation and the Red Cross to raise funds. The white entity helped the victims and survivors of one of the greatest tragedies in the history of Spain by donating one million euros.

“Villarreal CF would like to thank all the efforts made by the various security forces, associations and NGOs and the citizens themselves for the help they provide to those affected and expresses its greatest dismay at the serious situation that we live in, in which we wish to convey our support and condolences to the families and friends of the victims”, adds the Castellón team in its press release.
