In August of this year, work is underway on the organization of social services according to modern standards in the social service institutions of the orphanage under the legal direction of the Social Services Agency of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
Oku.Az informs that the Social Services Agency dependent on the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population has published information in this regard.
It was stated that within this framework, reform measures are being taken to apply the principles of quality social service in the aforementioned institutions, as well as to prevent negative situations and provide the residents of the institutions with the necessary social services.
The agency carried out special monitoring measures to check the quality of existing services in these orphanages and detect and eliminate negative situations.
As a result of these surveillance measures, an unprofessional approach was observed in the activities of some employees of the social service institutions of the children’s home No. 2, 3, 4 and 6 and in the social service institution of the small group home family type No. 1, abandonment of children and creation of conditions for violence, non-compliance with disciplinary rules, correct establishment of socio-psychological work, non-compliance with hygienic-sanitary standards, inadequate documentation, etc. cases were detected.
Taking all this into account and based on the interests of the company’s residents, disciplinary sanctions and warning measures were applied against a total of 41 employees of said companies. Thus, 33 of them were reprimanded and severely reprimanded, and 8 employees received written warnings. In addition, the employment contracts of 7 employees were terminated due to the decision not to extend the contract period.
The Agency continues to take necessary measures to implement modern standards in social service institutions of orphanages and to surround children with a caring environment, and the process will be carried out on an ongoing basis.
