The Israeli army reported shelling from Lebanon into northern Israel on Tuesday morning, after announcing overnight the start of “limited ground raids” against Hezbollah in Lebanon.
After the early morning warning sirens went off in Metula and Avivim – two towns near the “blue line”, the undemarcated border between northern Israel and Lebanon -, “Several projectiles have been identified from Lebanon” in each of these two areas, indicates a press release published in “intercepted”, according to the army, while others are “fallen”particularly in uninhabited areas.
