The artistic director of the Moscow Theater named after Oleg Tabakov, People’s Artist of Russia, Vladimir Mashkov, was sentenced in absentia to 10 years in prison in Ukraine. This is stated in a message from the Attorney General’s Office on the Telegram channel.
The message does not mention Mashkov’s first or last name; He only states that he is an actor, as well as “director of an important theater.” However, a photo of the artist is attached to the post.
“He was found guilty of usurping the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine and promoting war. The convicted man was sentenced to 10 years in prison and the confiscation of his apartment in Odessa.” – says the message.
