The head of the formation, Santiago Abascal, indicated that if even more military resources have not been mobilized, it is because “bastard political interests.

“Three days later, there are still dozens of people missing, thousands of families isolated and incommunicado, help is not coming and those who arrive, it is thanks to all the Spaniards who are mobilizing, compatriots who are doing the work that this government has not done,” denounced Rodríguez Millán.

“Soldiers await orders”

In this context, he demanded that the central government “take the reins” of the situation and lead this coordination, that a state of civil emergency be declared so that aid can reach all those affected, that they are exempt from paying taxes and can receive appropriate subsidies.

Vox calls for “mobilization and deployment of the entire army“. “We know that there are soldiers waiting for orders from this government to be able to mobilize and reach Valencia,” commented Rodríguez de Millán.

This same Friday, the leader of Vox, Santiago Abascal, accused the president of the government of having “barracked” the army by “bastard political interests” while what he calls “the real Spain” mobilizes to send aid to those affected by DANA.

The Vox spokesperson took the opportunity to convey all her gratitude to the emergency services and to all the Spaniards who are mobilizing, whose work contrasted with that of the one who, according to her, “revealed once again to be the worst in the worst.” possible time.

Eight ministers appointed

This same Friday, Vox already requested the appearance of the three vice-presidents of the Government, Maria Jesus Montero, Yolanda Diaz and Teresa Riberaas well as five ministers: Marguerite Robles (Defense), Fernando Grande Marlaska (Inside), Oscar Puente (Transportation), Luis Planas (Agriculture) and Jordi Hereu (Industry).

On the other hand, he asked Congress to create a subcommittee to investigate the causes of DANA and prevent future ones, and demanded reports on the number of hydraulic infrastructures demolished in 2023 and on the amount allocated for their maintenance. He also wants to know what information AEMET had before the storm and whether the Government had weather reports.

RTVE BOE

With approximately 300,000 Valencians surrounded by mud from floods caused by the DANAwith 80,000 including several without electricity or water, and with dozens of missing three days after a tragedy that left more than 150 dead, the government published in the Official State Gazette as “urgent measures” the royal decree by which Moncloa modifies the legal regime of RTVE to allow its partners to be placed on the board of directors. A vote that the Government won thanks to its partners last Wednesday morning, when the situation in Valencia was already tragic but they refused to suspend the plenary session.

Urgent measures: Resolution of October 30, 2024 of the Congress of Deputies, ordering the publication of the validation agreement of Royal Decree-Law 5/2024, of October 22, which modifies Law 17/2006, of June 5, of public radio and television, to adopt urgent measures concerning the legal regime applicable to the company RTVE“. This is how the BOE opens its festive edition this morning.

Thus, in the middle of the celebration and while the chaos reigning in Valencia affects hundreds of thousands of citizens, the government completes its assault against RTVE.
