Voice intensifies its offensive against the corruption cases surrounding the President of the Government, Pedro Sanchezaccusing him of manipulating public opinion from the podium of Congress with “hoaxes and mud”, words that Sánchez himself usually uses against critical media, to distract citizens’ attention from the judicial problems facing confronted his wife and his brother. Through a discussion thread on social networks, the party led by Santiago Abascal responded to the accusations that the leader of the Executive launched during his parliamentary intervention this Wednesday, in which he declared that Vox received illegal financing from a Hungarian bank.
Sánchez, in his time-limited response, criticized Vox for allegedly receiving money illegally through a Hungarian bank. He thus attempted, through a statement without evidence, to sow doubt about the financial independence of the training. The party is categorical: “Is Vox illegally financed by a Hungarian bank? Fake! None of the Spanish banks we spoke with wanted to finance the party, even though they make money from it and finance all the other Spanish parties,” he said in one of his tweets. Furthermore, he suggests that the refusal of national banks to lend them money could be due to “threats or coercion from Government“.

Compare your debt with that of the PP and PSOE
Santiago Abascal’s party also defended itself by comparing its financial situation with that of the two main parties, the PP and the PSOE. According to data available to the party, in 2023 both parties declared debts significantly higher than those of Vox. They assure that these cases reflect “structural corruption” within the government and the PSOE, which goes beyond individual scandals. “Since Sánchez has been president, his government and his party have been implicated in countless cases of corruption,” they add.
