Bogor – The united team of SAR is still looking for Oden Sumanri, an employee of the Ministry of the Interior (Kemendagri), who was reported, disappeared from the landslides in Megamengung, Bogor Regnsia, Western Java.
The search was carried out visually, especially combing the stream of the Kilivung River, in anticipation of the results of DNA tests from the body of a headless person found in Pankoran, South Jakarta.
Sumardi Andy said that the head of the Bogor Regency BPBD team currently visually visually controls a number of river flow points. The results of the DNA test from the hospital are the key to the determination of whether the detected bodies of Oden Sumantri are.
“At present, we are still visually controlled during the expectation of information from the hospital. Currently, the body is checked for DNA, so I’m not sure whether this is a victim of landslide from Megamentung, ”Andy told reporters on Saturday (12/7/2025).
According to him, from the very beginning, it was reported, no on July 5, 2025, the united team SAR conducted a maximum search at the landslide site using various methods, including spraying of water and manual monitoring. But so far the existence of Oden is still unknown.
“The efforts were maximized at the landing point. We also divided the team and attracted the surrounding community to participate in the search at the starting point, ”he explained.
