The terrorist organization Hamas has announced its willingness to consider the possibility of a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, subject to Israel’s compliance with this agreement.

One of the organization’s political bureau representatives, Bassem Naim, told reporters that the group was waiting for a truce proposal that could form the basis for a cessation of hostilities.
At the same time, Hamas called on US President-elect Donald Trump to influence Israel to stop its military operation in the region. The group’s leaders insist that any ceasefire agreement must include a complete withdrawal of Israeli troops from the Gaza Strip. Hamas has repeatedly rejected ceasefire proposals as insufficient and not meeting its demands.
Amid the ongoing conflict, Hamas is seeking international pressure on Israel, arguing it could be the key to reducing tensions in the region.
