European leaders will visit the United States on Monday or Tuesday to discuss the end of the war in Ukraine, Donald Trump said on Sunday to reporters.
“Some European leaders will come to our country on Monday or the third individually,” Trump said, not explaining which leaders would make a trip to the other side of the Atlantic.
According to the German DPA news agency, European officials, led by the special envoy of the European Union David O, Sullivan will be present at a meeting in the Ministry of Finance for various forms of financial pressure on Russia.
The US President also stated that he would talk to Russian President Vladimir Putin “soon” and said that his government was ready to continue the “second stage” of sanctions against Moscow for a complete invasion of Ukraine.
“I’m not satisfied. I am not satisfied with the situation as a whole, ”I insisted that Trump insisted on his return to the capital from New York when reporters asked questions about the raid. “I am not satisfied with what is happening there.”
Trump’s comments appeared after Russia began the largest air attack, when the liba began in Ukraine, having killed at least four people and damage the building of the central government in Kyiv.
The Russian army, as usual, assured that it ended up in the “facilities of the Ukrainian military complex and transport infrastructure.”
Drones and military airports in the east, southern and central Ukraine, as well as two industries in the Kiev region, have always been intended, always, according to Moscow.
Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky decisively condemned the Sunday hit. He said that statements about condolences by state leaders and institutions “must support strong actions”.
“Sanctions against Russia and people related to Russia, harsh duties and other restrictions with Russia. Their losses should be felt. This is really convincing, ”Volodymyr Zelensky wrote in X.
On Sunday, the Minister of Finance Scott Based said that the United States will be opened to work with European countries in order to introduce more sanctions on countries that buy Russian oil in order to “disintegrate the Russian economy”.
“We are ready to increase pressure on Russia, but we need our European partners to follow us,” Bedend said to NBC News “Meet the Press”.
“Now we have been in the road race between how long the Ukrainian army can resist how long the Russian economy can withstand,” Basnov added. “If the United States and the EU can come, impose more sanctions, secondary tariffs for countries buying Russian oil, the Russian economy will completely collapse.”
The EU has already reduced its markets in Russian oil and gas since the beginning of the full invasion of Moscow in February 2022. In June, Brussels established a deadline in 2027 to gradual abolition of all other Russian energy markets.
Russia has “three times more resources”
Russia has at least “three times more” forces and resources than Ukraine on the front line, today the leader of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Olksadr Sirski.
“At the moment, the enemy has three times more powers and resources” and “in the main regions” of the front, up to “four -six times”, he explained in the Facebook statement, in which he made the August report.
“The enemy uses the tactics of“ lack ”promotion with small infantry groups trying to get into the villages using the space between the places and avoiding the immediate battle,” said Sirsky.
In mid -August, Russian troops succeeded with this tactics, entering the outskirts of Dobropill, cities in the east district of Donetsk, where a guard was located, for a short time for 10 kilometers, to a stop in a few days.
Russian troops were appointed to Eastern Ukraine during August, albeit at a slower pace than in the previous months, according to the analysis of the French data agency available to the War Research Institute.
Sirsky, however, expressed satisfaction with a “positive” account.
“We stabilized the situation in the most threatening zones (…), restoring the lost territories, protecting our cities from hostile missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles and deep in Russia,” he said.
According to him, Ukrainian forces restored control over 58 square kilometers and settlements.
Russia owns about 20% of the Ukrainian territory and continues its attacks to distract the territory, despite serious losses and recent attempts to negotiate the end of the war.
