Until 2028, warehouses for the temporary storage of goods in transit will be built in North Ossetia, on the border with Georgia, according to the First Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Republic, Oleg Bykadorov.
“In 2026, the republic will begin the implementation of an investment project for the construction of temporary warehouses near the Verkhniy Lars multilateral automobile checkpoint on the border with Georgia. Already in 2027, conditions will be created there so that cargo carriers can store goods and vehicles transported by road across the state border.” – said the vice minister.
According to him, within the framework of the investment project, customs clearance of goods imported into the country will also be organized. Roadside service facilities and service stations will also be created.
