The reason why cars imported from China were not allowed to cross the border has become known.
According to Khezerxeber.az, Chinese cars, which were supposed to be delivered in 40-45 days, have been delayed at the border for some time. For this reason, some car delivery companies even offered their customers temporary cars to compensate for the delay.
Kanan Heydarov, director of the company that imports cars from China to Azerbaijan, said that in order to find out the cause of the problem, they visited the place where the vehicles got stuck, Dagestan. It turned out that the reason for the non-delivery of the cars was the deficiencies in their documents.
Kanan Heydarov said that some transport companies were transporting cars from China to Kazakhstan in order to reduce the cost of their transport. Since this does not comply with transport rules, the documents were not in order.
He stressed that the amount of the fine applied must be paid in order to get the cars running again and to put the documents in order. Doing this is the responsibility of the carrier, not the client, i.e. the person who requests the car.
