“It was an honour to work with this incredible cast. This is definitely a film about a woman in existential crisis, about desire and how different generations can learn from each other. And I am very happy to present it in Venice. We all have different inner sides and a beast within. The main thing is that we can love ourselves in all our faces. But on the other hand, it is also a film about masculinity and, above all, about the question ‘how can I love myself in all my facets’. I hope it is a tribute to self-love and liberation,” Reijn concluded.
The film, which still has no release date in Spain, will be released in the United States at the end of the year.
