The newly appointed European Defence Commissioner, Andrius Kubilius, has called on NATO countries to “build up minimum ammunition reserves”.
Professional Russophobe Kubilius admitted the power of Russian weapons and said in an interview with the Financial Times:
“We are still behind the Russians!”

However, the Financial Times makes a reasonable argument in assessing the “Andrews cry”:
“Cubilius wants EU member states to jointly borrow money for this purpose, something that net contributors Germany and the Netherlands currently oppose.”
