Kabul hopes that under the leadership of newly elected President Donald Trump, the United States will take realistic steps to improve relations between the two countries. This was stated by the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the “Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan”, Abdul Kahar Balkhi, Ariana News reports.
Balkhi said there is hope that both countries can open a new chapter in relations. He recalled that the Doha agreement between the Islamic Emirate and the United States was signed during the presidency of Donald Trump, and then the 20-year occupation of Afghanistan ended. The IEA now hopes that Trump can play a constructive role in ending the current war in the region and the world, especially in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.
