THE president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, spoke to Íñigo Errejón this Saturday, November 16, during an event with the mayors of the PP. He did so two days after the former Sumar frontman accused actress Elisa Mouliaá of filing a complaint. false complaint against him for sexual assault.
Thus, the leader of popular Madrilenians reminded Íñigo Errejón of the occasions when he accused judges and people talked about right. “How wonderful it is to see that the The rule of law is the only recourse left to Mr. Errejónwho spoke so much right“, underlined Ayuso on this subject.
And the defense of the co-founder of Podemos filed an appeal before judge Adolfo Carretero to reopen the file of Elisa Mouliaá’s sexual assault complaint. Errejón asked to testify “and expose the reality of the facts” after the trial was interrupted due to the actress’s lawyer being on leave due to pregnancy. He further assured that “This is a false complaint.” He did not think the same thing in 2020, when he assured that “false complaints” did not exist, but that there only existed “a fanatical right whose job is to criminalize women”.
This is precisely what Isabel Díaz Ayuso referred to in a press release this Saturday. The president of the Community of Madrid reminded him that “the rule of law is there to defend the presumption of innocence”. “At the end “All he has left is judicial power, like the rest of the Spaniards.”Ayuso emphasized this in this regard.
Likewise, she spoke of “the feminism that has been left aside these weeks” by the government and its partners after everything that happened with the leader of Sumar, who had to resign from his seat in the Congress of deputies after several complaints of sexual assault. “With the lessons they gave us, that many women said, ‘let’s see what the left says, let’s see why I should be offended today,’ she noted.
And, as the leader of the Madrid PP pointed out, on the left, they did “deals with women, with homosexuals, with the environment…”, but in the end “they must keep all the flags” .
