“My observations show that Iran and Russia have no other choice but to be close in this region and stay on the same page.”
This was stated by Turan Ibrahimov, head of the Baku TV department.
He noted that the current tension between Russia and Iran therefore reveals the idea that they are in negotiations:
“Iran and Russia fought over the Caucasus many times in history. As a result, we have such a trauma as the Turkmenchai Treaty. T. Ibrahimov noted that “the conflict between Iran and Russia, which is being brought to the table as a result of it, what does the decision that will be taken promise for Azerbaijan?” you need to think about the question:
“We must not forget that Azerbaijan in 2024 is not the Azerbaijan of those times. Azerbaijani-Russian relations in 2024, the geopolitical advantage our country has achieved, the role it plays for certain states are completely different.
