In September 2021, Macarena left with her son Antonio David, 15, from her home in Morón de la Frontera (Seville), in direction Talavera de la Reina. There he booked a hotel room, where witnesses claim to have last seen the young man alive.

It was at that moment that he confessed that, somewhere between the 260 kilometers that separate Talavera de la Reina and Carabias, He had thrown his son’s lifeless body and his chair into a container.

Of all the versions given by the mother, this is the one that the police considered valid, even if the child’s family, three years later, He still doesn’t believe it. Antonio Barroso, father of Antonio David: “I think my son was not thrown into a container. That there were more people there.”

The mother, with mental health issuesassured the police that the container in which he allegedly threw the body was located on a road entering Madrid, next to a white building, very close to a shopping center. The police searched Arroyomolinos, Móstoles, Alcorcón… and several dumps without success.

Three years later, her grandmother still hopes to find a trace: “What I want is for it to appear. Whether it’s a shoe, whatever it is. Let him prove that he is alive or that he is dead.”

The child’s mother is still free and lives very close to the familyin Morón de la Frontera. Barroso assures that “I see her pass by with the car and… I see her.” The family is still waiting for the trial, asking that the process be accelerated and that justice be done as soon as possible.
